Services

At Dr. Moon's office we offer a variety of techniques and procedures in addition to normal cleaning to make your mouth look and feel healthier.

Crowns

You may need a crown to cover a damaged or misshapen tooth and restore it to its normal shape and size. A crown can make your tooth stronger and improve its appearance.

A crown can cover and support a tooth with a large filling when there isn't enough tooth left. It can be used to attach a bridge, protect a weak tooth from breaking or restore one that's already broken. A crown is a good way to cover teeth that are discolored or badly shaped, and can also be used to cover a dental implant.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Even the most subtle change in your smile can make a dramatic difference in the way you look and feel about yourself. Talk to your dentist about the options most suitable for you, what your expectations are and the dental fees involved.

Sealants

Sealants are another part of our preventative program. A sealant is a material that seals the deepest grooves on the biting surface of the teeth. Flossing is still recommended to help prevent cavities between teeth.

Periodontal Treatment

Do you have red or swollen gums? Do your gums bleed when you brush or floss? Does your breath smell bad? If you answered "yes" to any of these conditions, you may have a condition known as Gingivitis or Periodontitis. We offer treatments designed to reverse the progressive stages of these two diseases. Treated early, total remission may occur and you will be able to live your life maintaining a healthy, happy smile. Good home care and frequent dental visits are strongly recommended with such treatments.

Endodontics

Many people encounter toothaches, which may require endodontic treatment (root canal) and/or extraction. Some cases may need to be referred to a specialist.

Tooth Replacement

Crowns and conventional bridges or dentures may not be your only options when replacing missing teeth. For some people, dental implants offer a smile that looks and feels very natural. Surgically placed below the gums over a series of appointments, implants fuse to the jawbone and serve as a base for individual replacement teeth, bridges or a denture.

Fillings/Restoration

Direct restorations are fillings placed immediately into a prepared cavity in a single visit.

Indirect restorations generally require two or more visits. They include inlays, onlays, veneers, crowns and bridges fabricated with gold, base metal alloys, ceramics or composites.

Bleeching

During chairside bleaching, the dentist will apply either a protective gel to your gums or a rubber shield to protect the oral soft tissues. A bleaching agent is then applied to the teeth, and a special light may be used to enhance the action of the agent.
